The Kardashian-Jenner family won another legal battle against Blac Chyna. The model lost a motion to disqualify the judge who presided over the defamation trial that the Kardashian-Jenner family recently won.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory Alarcon said Chyna provided no legal grounds for his disqualification and defended himself as being unbiased.

The outlet noted that the motion made no sense as Chyna should have filed it during the trial and asked the judge to excuse himself from the case.

Chyna's only recourse should be to ask for a new trial based on an improper ruling since the legal proceedings were over. However, TMZ reported that the model did not ask for that.

Chyna's camp has yet to announce its next legal step. However, the judge said Rob Kardashian's ex-fiancee has to file a writ of mandate if she wants to bring it up with the Court of Appeal.

Blac Chyna Says Judge in Kardashian-Jenner Family's Defamation Case Was' Hostile' and 'Biased'

Blac Chyna, born Angela White, has filed a peremptory challenge against Judge Gregory Alarcon, claiming that the judge "exhibited an 'undeniably hostile and extremely biased' attitude towards her and her lawyer "since April 19 and April 20, 2022."

The model believed that Alarcon's alleged attitude towards them affected several parts of the case, including the jury making "key liability verdicts in her favor" and being "denied due process" about "the jury instructions and special verdict form," People reported.

The lawyer of the Kardashian-Jenner family has filed a 20-page opposition on Monday, arguing that Chyna and her attorney, Lynne Ciani, have proceeded "without complaint" as Alarcon "presided over a 10-day trial" even though the model has issues with him.

Lawyer Michael Rhodes said the model's move was a "baseless effort to save face after losing the trial." The attorney further noted that Chyna was trying to "make a scapegoat" of Alarcon after losing the defamation suit.

Rhodes also called the accusations of bias "frivolous, dishonest, and deserving of sanctions."

The lawyer added that the model's "dissatisfaction with the Court's ordinary exercise of its discretion in overseeing trial is irrelevant" to Alarcon's capacity for "impartiality in a future trial."

Rhodes asked for Chyna's statement of disqualification to be removed and her request for disqualification to be denied. The lawyer added that Ciani should also be sanctioned in an amount to be determined in the family's "separately served noticed motion."

Kardashian-Jenner Family Wins Defamation Case Against Blac Chyna

Blac Chyna has sued Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian for defamation and intentional interference with her contract at the E! network.

Chyna alleged that Kris and her three daughters defamed her and convinced producers and the E! network to cancel "Rob & Chyna." She is seeking $100 million in damages.

The model has been involved in a legal dispute with the Kardashians since 2017. That October, Chyna also sued Rob Kardashian, and his family, for allegedly tarnishing her brand and verbally and physically abusing her.

On May 2, Judge Gregory Alarcon ruled against Blac Chyna in her multimillion-dollar defamation case against the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The judge ruled that the Kardashian-Jenner family was cleared of all the key questions. Chyna was also not awarded any monetary damages in her almost five-year lawsuit against the family.

The jury reportedly found that Chyna had not physically abused Rob Kardashian. They also found that the Kardashian-Jenner family had not defamed Chyna.

However, they did find that the family's actions were not justified concerning Chyna's "contractual relationship" with the E! Network for her reality show "Rob & Chyna."

During the trial, E! Network executives testified that "Rob & Chyna" ended because the relationship of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna ended and not because of the defendants' actions.
