Johnny Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, took the center stage in the actor's defamation trial against Amber Heard, as she cross-examined the actress in connection to the 2018 op-ed the actress penned.

During cross-examination on Tuesday, Vasquez cornered Heard on several points, including the actress' claims that alcohol and drugs turned Depp into a "monster" and would become violent against her, CNN reported.

"Who was the real monster in this relationship, Ms. Heard," is one of Vasquez's questions she asked Heard during the trial.

The 37-year-old attorney has been garnering attention and praise for her tough examination of the "Aquaman" actress on Tuesday, per New York Post.

The Daily Mail noted that Vasquez was able to gain a massive online following, with supporters expressing their sentiments online and lauding how she asked questions to Heard.

One user commented on Twitter, saying that she was a Johnny Depp fan but she is also now a die-hard Camille Vasquez fan after the questioning.

Another comment lauded Depp's decision to pick Vasquez and include her in his legal team.

One user with the handle @realXanderXjork posted a photo of Camille Vasquez on Twitter and asked how many would want the lawyer to be their attorney.
