"Saturday Night Live" (SNL) will be seeing a number of long-featured stars leave the show at its season finale, including Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Kyle Mooney.

According to Deadline, creator Lorne Michaels admitted that he expected this year to be a "year of change" for the show. Natasha Lyonne will be hosting the end of tomorrow night's episode, which featured all four departees.

Other longest-tenured cast members in the SNL's history, such as Colin Jost, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, and Michael Che, who have been on the show for eight seasons or more, will remain in the series.

Beck Bennett, who has been on SNL since 2013, has already left the show ahead of season 47 finale, alongside Lauren Holt.

Davidson has been on the SNL since 2014 as one of its youngest cast members. He has also become one of the show's successful stars in recent years, co-writing and starring in "The King of Staten Island."

Davidson's last SNL sketch was a pre-taped musical number titled "Short-Ass Movie," together with rapper Gunna, actor Chris Redd, and Simon Rex.

Davidson, now in a relationship with Kim Kardashian, has largely been absent this season. The comedian only appeared in a handful of episodes as he filmed features including "The Home."

Pete Davidson to Skip Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Wedding

Pete Davidson will not be attending Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's wedding in Italy due to work commitments.

People reported that Kim Kardashian, the sister of Kourtney, will be in Italy on Saturday to attend her sister's wedding to Barker.

Davidson and the SKIMS founder started their romantic relationship after she made her SNL hosting debut in October. The two shared an on-screen kiss in an Aladdin-themed sketch.

The pair were seen numerous times in public. They were photographed earlier holding hands on a roller coaster at Knotty's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California.

Since then, the two have been in other high-profile events, such as the 2022 Met Gala and the 2022 White House Correspondents' Dinner.

In March, a source said that Peter Davidson is "slowly getting to know her kids," but Kim "is not pushing it." Kim Kardashian shares daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 4, with ex-husband Kanye West. Kim and Kanye also have sons named Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2.

Pete Davidson After SNL

Pete Davidson first hinted his exit from the show in 2021 after appearing on season 46 on SNL. He said in May 2021 that he was surprised he made it to seven seasons, adding that he was ready "to hang up the jersey," according to U.S. Magazine.

As he prepares to end his stint with SNL, Davidson is reportedly headlining his own comedy series inspired by his life.

Deadline reported that the comedian is preparing to play the lead in the tentatively titled "Bupkis," which he is co-writing with his long-time friend and collaborator Dave Sirus and Judah Miller.

"Bupkis" is expected to be a "raw, unflinching, fictionalized version" of the comedian's real life. The series will be produced by Pete Davidson, Sirus, Miller, and Broadway Video's Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David.
