According to Yaay, Bad Bunny got his name from an unforgettable experience when he was a kid. He dressed up as a rabbit for a performance at his school. 

Although he was photographed smiling, he told his fans that he was upset at the time for wearing that costume. This not-so-good memory made him use the name "Bad Bunny" as his stage name.

Bad Bunny Started to Write Songs at 14

Bad Bunny's love for music started at a young age. He grew up listening to Daddy Yankee, his favorite artist. Music Minnesota noted that the Puerto Rican singer began to write at the age of 14.
