Mexican-American actress and pop star Selena Gomez recently celebrated her 30th birthday with a "formal party" to remember.
A source confirmed to E! News how the "Slow Down" singer celebrated her special day by throwing a formal event with nearly 50 guests at a private home.
"Everyone sang happy birthday to her... She was really happy and was partying with her friends all night and was having the best night," the insider noted.
The source also said that everyone who attended Gomez's birthday party was "in gowns and dressed up." The source added that there were also red roses lining the entryway and throughout the party.
Gomez took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her birthday party, posting a slideshow of photos. In the photos, Gomez looked gorgeous in a pink Versace gown with hoop earrings.
The Latina singer thanked Versace for the gown and the team who made her look fabulous during her birthday party. Selena's friend, Courtney Lopez, also shared a few snaps on Instagram, revealing another dress Selena wore during her special day.
The "Kill Em With Kindness" singer rocked a white sequin halter dress lined with feathers. Another source told E! News that Camila Cabello was among the party guests.

Taylor Swift and the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer reunited on the latter's birthday on July 22. The Rare Beauty founder shared two photos of their meeting on Instagram without dismaying their fans with their sophisticated looks.
Selena Gomez reportedly wore a pleated white dress from Gucci with balloon sleeves. It is estimated to cost around $5,400.
On the other hand, Swift opted for a more casual look, rocking a puff-sleeved mini dress with a tiered skirt and patchwork pattern. She paired her look with Cathy Waterman earrings and loose pigtail braids to complete her cottagecore-inspired looks.
Selena Gomez Shares Heartfelt Message
Apart from photos, Selena Gomez also shared a piece of sage advice after her glam birthday party.
"My twenties were a journey through good, hard, and beautiful moments that I will never forget. Each of them has shaped me into the person that I am today," Gomez wrote in the caption alongside two black-and-white portraits of her.
The Latina singer acknowledged that she is still learning, but the difference is that she is now sure about what she wants. She noted that she was walking forward, encouraged by "so many strong, empowering people" around her.
She said her "heart feels full" after a few days of celebrating her birthday and is now starting to like being at 30. Selena Gomez concluded her message by thanking the people who became a part of her life, adding that she loves them "all inside and out so much it hurts."
