Mexican professional footballer Raul Jimenez has proven himself to be a good striker since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers.

During the 2019-20 season, Jimenez became a dangerous attacking force, which caught the attention of many top European clubs looking for a transfer coup.

He has been playing for the Wolves for three seasons now. And he faced a threatening injury during their game against Arsenal on November 2020.

According to Mixed Article, David Luiz of Arsenal collided with him in the head. He collapsed on the field and lay there for a while before being taken to the hospital. First aid was given to him on the field for about 10 minutes before he was rushed to the hospital.

He was later found to have a broken skull. Raul Jimenez has fully recovered from the head injury that caused him to leave for eight months.

Mexican Footballer Raul Jimenez's Injury Update

The president of the Mexican Football Federation gave a new report on Wolves striker Raul Jimenez's injury. The 31-year-old striker had not played for Wolves since the end of August, when he played about 90 minutes against Bournemouth.

Former manager Bruno Lage previously described Jimenez's absence as chronic fatigue, but the club has since confirmed that the striker is recovering from his groin injury.

Jimenez's father and Tata Martino, the Mexico boss, provided conflicting statements about the severity of his injury during the recent international break.

However, Birmingham Mail reported that Yon de Luisa, head of the Mexican Football Federation, has provided the most recent information on Jimenez's rehabilitation while the World Cup is still a month away.

"Raul is here. He is in Mexico," De Luisa said. "The diagnosis he has is pubalgia, he will be working for 15 days with our medical authorities here in Mexico City, and after 15 days, he will have another check-up with the doctors."

Doctors from Wolverhampton, the Mexican national team, and Los Angeles are looking at Jimenez's injury and will release a more accurate diagnosis in around two weeks.

According to the club, Jimenez's rehabilitation phase is progressing under the care of an external specialist and their medical team. Their main goal is reportedly to take care of his health before making predictions about his return.

"We have a very good relationship with the Mexican national team medical practitioners who have co-operated with his management in the understanding that Raul is important to both Wolves and Mexico," the Wolves' medical team said in a statement.
