Anya Taylor-Joy has officially wrapped filming on the new Mad Max spin-off Furiosa. 

Anya Taylor-Joy has been skyrocketing to superstardom on the screen in the past few years. Her illustrious career started to soar back with the pandemic-released limited-series The Queen's Gambit. Since that time, she has been seen in Emma, Last Night in Soho, The Northman, Amsterdam, and many others. There is even more on the horizon for the talented young star. She has officially joined the Mad Max franchise. She will be appearing in the new spin-off Furiosa in the title role.

Anya Taylor-Joy and her boyfriend, Malcolm McRae, reportedly had an intimate wedding in the U.S. Here's what we know so far.

Fuirosa is a film based off of one of the most well-loved characters from the Mad Max film Fury Road, Furiosa. The character was original played by outstanding actress Charlize Theron. The role will be given a new spin in this upcoming film starring Anya Taylor-Joy. According to an article on GeekFeed, Anya Taylor-Joy has already finished her filming work for the production. The official description, as quoted by GeekFeed, reads: 

"As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus... Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home."
