The Powerball winning numbers for the massive $754.6 million jackpot had been drawn Monday night. So, did anyone win the grand prize?

According to USA Today, the Monday draw of the Powerball lottery had one winner in the state of Washington, taking home the fifth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and ninth-largest in U.S. lottery history.

The Powerball winning numbers for Monday night's drawing were 5, 11, 22, 23, 69, and the Powerball was 7. The Power Play was 2X. Since a Powerball ticket hit the jackpot, the top prize returns to its starting point of $20 million for the next Powerball drawing on Wednesday, February 8.

Powerball Winning Numbers: The Winners

According to reports, the Powerball jackpot winner's identity is still a mystery. But the ticket holder has the option to receive $754.6 million if they choose the annuity option, to be paid out gradually over 29 years, or a lump sum payment of $407.2 million. According to Powerball, both prize options are before taxes.

This was the first Powerball jackpot to win this year. The Powerball jackpot was last won on November 19, when a ticket in Kansas matched all six balls, winning a $92.9 million jackpot.

CNN reported that other million-dollar winners in Monday night's drawing include two tickets in Michigan and three in New York that won $1 million each after matching the first five numbers. Another ticket in Texas matched all five numbers, and the winner doubled the price to $2 million by including the Power Play option for an additional $1 per play.

Last year, seven Powerball jackpots were reportedly won, including the world record $2.04 billion jackpot won by a single ticket in California last November 7. The lucky winner in Altadena, California, correctly matched all six numbers to win the Powerball jackpot. The lottery player's identity currently remains a mystery.

How to Play Powerball Lottery

Each ticket is worth only $2. The player can choose or opt to randomly receive five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls and one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball. To win the Powerball jackpot, your numbers must match the five white balls and the red Powerball.

Powerball also offers eight more opportunities to win a prize across the game's non-jackpot tiers, depending on the number of balls matched. Non-jackpot prizes are between $4 and $1 million, and a prize could go higher if you opt into "Powerplay" by paying an extra $1.

Powerplay multiplies non-jackpot winning money by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10. The 10X Powerplay option is only available when the prize is $150 million or below. The Powerball game's second-tier "Match 5" prize is capped at $2 million for the Powerplay.

Players have another chance to match their numbers after each Powerball drawing through the additional add-on feature called "Double Play," which s available in some jurisdictions for $1 per play.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Powerball is being played in 45 states, as well as in Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
