The infamous Colorado home in Boulder, wherein JonBenet Ramsey was found dead, is now up for sale. Interested buyers can snatch the home for $7 million, according to a recent listing that was posted.

The home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three half-baths, with the property occupying 7,240 square feet, as reported by Fox Business.

In 2014, the Colorado home was up for sale for under $2 million. The new listing for the home had a 250% increase for the selling price of $7 million.

Aside from spacious rooms, the brick home also has a wine cellar and open brick patio. However, the listing did not mention the home's history, according to New York Post.

The Ramseys sold the home less than two years after six-year-old JonBenet was found killed in the home's basement in 1996.

The Colorado home was first bought in 1991 by the Ramseys. The property was then sold to a group of investors for $650,000 in 1998.

JonBenet Ramsey Case New Findings

New documents were unearthed from the early investigation of the case, which showed that DNA evidence recovered under the child's fingernails and clothes was not a match for members of the family.

Fox News reported that police continued to suggest the possibility that JonBenet's parents were under "an umbrella of suspicion" in the murder of the child.

John W. Anderson, author of "Lou and JonBenet: A Legendary Lawman's Quest to Solve a Child Beauty Queen's Murder," said that the Boulder police have "ignored the DNA evidence" that exonerated the parents and could be used to identify JonBenet's killer.

Late Colorado investigator, Lou Smith, came out of retirement in 1997 at the request of the Boulder County District Attorney's Office to look into the JonBenet case.

The released documents were from Smit's files, which his family shared with investigators.

Smit resigned 19 months after coming out of retirement, writing in his resignation letter that John and Patsy did not kill their daughter, adding "that a very dangerous killer is still out there."

Smith added that no one was looking for the possible suspect.

JonBenet Ramsey's Murder

On December 26, 1996, JonBenet was discovered dead in the basement of their Colorado home. It was reported that the child beauty queen was already dead the night before, but was only found the next morning.

Denver 7 News detailed that her father found her body eight hours after her mother said she found a ransom note demanding $118,000.

JonBenet's parents were initially believed to have been kidnapped and called 911 despite the note saying that if they called the police, the child would die.

Police arrived but failed to secure the scene of the crime.

Smit reported on evidence at the time that an intruder likely broke in and killed JonBenet.

In addition, Smit said that the DNA evidence also indicated that her attacker was a male.

In June 1997, the Ramsey family moved out of Boulder, Colorado ,and lived in a house in the Atlanta suburbs. It was two months after the Boulder DA Alex Hunter publicly noted that the parents were the focus of the investigation.
