After Shakira was photographed leaving Spain to start a new life in Florida with her kids, it was reported that Gerard Pique had already agreed to give full custody of their children to the Colombian pop star.

Citing a Spanish media report, HOLA! reported that custody arrangements were settled before Shakira moved to Miami, Florida.

According to People En Español, the Colombian singer had to ask her former partner for full custody of their children in order for her to leave Barcelona, Spain, where she had established herself.

The outlet said Shakira's request was granted "without major issues." Following the news about the custody arrangement, Joan Pique, the Spanish football legend's father, reportedly sent Shakira an eviction letter on March 13.

Local news outlets said Joan asked the "Waka Waka" singer to vacate the former couple's home by April 30 or pay compensation.

Spanish journalists Laura Fa and Lorena Vazquez reported that the house is in the name of Inversiones BCN Two & Two SL, a company whose administrator is Pique's father.

While Shakira and her two children are excited to start a new life in Miami, Pique seems to be getting into a more serious relationship with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, after the infidelity scandal.

Shakira's Luxurious Mansion in Miami, Florida

Shakira bought the mansion in Florida in 2001 for an estimated $17.5 million, and it is situated in one of Miami's most prestigious neighborhoods, according to MARCA.

Despite her plans to sell it in the past, the Colombian singer now sees the house as the ideal place to begin her new life after her breakup with the former athlete.

The white and minimalist style mansion has two floors spread over 750 square meters. It features a private gym, a large outdoor swimming pool, a private dock, and breathtaking sea views.

There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms in the house, as well as two spacious living spaces, one of which features an oriental-themed billiard room. The property sits on more than 2,000 square meters of land.

Gerard Pique Is Not Happy With Shakira's Plans

Before the custody arrangements were settled, Gerard Pique was reportedly "very annoyed" after the Colombian music icon only gave him "days' notice" that she was taking their two sons to Florida.

Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8, are reportedly going to start school in Miami on April 11, and Pique does not know about Shakira's plans.

Her lawyer Pilar Mane had reportedly told Pique's lawyer Ramon Tamborero in a formal announcement that Shakira was leaving definitively.

According to reports, she had phoned the former Barcelona defender to confirm it. Shakira and the kids left Barcelona on April 1.

Shakira confirmed on April 2 that she would no longer stay in Barcelona. She took to Instagram to explain her move, saying that she stayed in Barcelona to give her kids the stability.

But now, she said she is entering a new stage in her life and wants to be next to family, friends, and the sea.

"Today we start a new chapter in the pursuit of their happiness. Thank you to everyone who surfed alongside me so many waves there in Barcelona, the city where I learned that friendship is certainly longer than love," she wrote.
