Marjorie Taylor Greene married Perry Greene, her husband of 27 years, in 1995. They were both studying at the University of Georgia at the time.

However, Bloomberg reported that Perry filed for divorce in the Georgia Superior Court of Floyd County last September, stating his marriage with the Republican representative was "irretrievably broken."

In a statement released after the divorce filing, Perry still described Marjorie as an "amazing" mother and friend, adding that their family is the "most important thing" they have ever done.

The divorce was finalized before the year ended, with Judge Bryan Thomas Johnson issuing a final judgment and decree of divorce. Business Insider reported that this was the second time that Marjorie and her ex-husband filed for divorce.

In July 2012, Marjorie filed for divorce after the alleged affairs she had with two men working at the Crossfit gym where she trained. But the couple managed to reconcile later.

Toronto Sun reported that Perry decided to end the marriage after reports revealed that the Republican lawmaker cheated with other men, including polyamorous sex guru Craig Ivey and the manager of the local gym where she frequented.

Marjorie shares three children, namely Lauren, Taylor, and Derek, with her ex-husband Perry.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: New Relationship After Past Marriage

Marjorie Taylor Greene recently admitted to dating right-wing producer Brian Glenn five months after they were reported to be an item and her husband filed for divorce.

Marjorie confessed to the romance and said Glenn had been a "great resource" for dealing with the media, saying that he is from the industry. The Republican lawmaker noted that Glenn explained a lot to her regarding how the media works.

Daily Mail reported that Glenn is also going through a divorce and left his wife just three days after Marjorie filed to end her marriage to Perry in September.

Glenn denied the relationship with the lawmaker ended his marriage, but there were photos showing the two growing close together since October last year.

The veteran radio host was reportedly captured traveling with Marjorie in her blacked-out SUV and entering a house in Rome, Georgia, where she had been living since her divorce from Perry.

The two were first seen together in June of the same year outside the U.S. Supreme Court building, where he interviewed her about the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Since then, the new couple repeatedly liked and retweeted each others' social media posts while Glenn repeatedly featured Marjorie on his show at the Right Side Broadcasting Network.

Perry Greene took leadership of their family business, while Marjorie was listed as its chief financial officer from 2007 to 2011.

After becoming a fitness enthusiast, the Republican lawmaker started a commercial gym in 2013 with a partner and later on sold her stake in 2016.

According to Britannica, Marjorie was largely inactive when it came to politics, choosing not to vote in the 2012 and 2014 elections. However, she supported former President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential race.

In 2021, she appeared in her first year in Congress but found herself shut out from many congressional gatherings. She instead made an appearance at rallies and conferences.
