Eva Longoria was born on March 15, 1975, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Ella Eva and Enrique Longoria Jr. and had four older sisters.

Her mother taught students with special needs while her father maintained a ranch. According to Edu Dwar, the Mexican-American actress became Miss Corpus Christi USA in 1998 after finishing college, which opened doors for her to compete in a talent show in Los Angeles. Shortly after, she got signed by a theatrical agent.

Longoria was married to "General Hospital" star Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, She began dating French American basketball player Tony Parker, whom she eventually wed in 2007. Longoria's divorce from Parker was finalized in 2011.

Eva Longoria announced her engagement to José Antonio Bastón Patio, a Mexican businessman she met on a blind date, in 2015. They tied the knot in 2016, and in 2018, they welcomed their first child. They named their baby boy Santiago.

Eva Longoria started in the entertainment industry in the late '90s with guest spots on popular shows, including "Beverly Hills, 90210," "General Hospital," and "The Young and the Restless," according to FreshersLive.

Her big break came in 2004 when she was cast as Gabrielle Solis on "Desperate Housewives." The sitcom lasted eight seasons and landed a Golden Globe nomination for Longoria.

As her career flourished after "Desperate Housewives," Longoria went on to guest star on other popular series like "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Jane the Virgin," and "Empire."

She also made appearances in films such as in "Over Her Dead Body," "The Sentinel," and "Dora and the Lost City of Gold." Longoria  has also produced and directed several TV episodes and movies in addition to her acting career.
