Brazil is considered the most soccer-crazy country, and when Spanish fans hurt racist attacks at one of its stars, Brazilians responded accordingly in defense of Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius Jr., who is Afro-Brazilian, had been subjected to racist chants by fans of opposing teams, the latest happening last May during a Real Madrid away match against Valencia. The Brazilian superstar criticized the Spanish Premier League for failing to curb racist incidences like this, as it has happened to him plenty of times.

Following the racist attack on its national soccer star, Brazil showed solidarity by turning off the lights at the Christ the Redeemer and then having its national team, Vinicius Jr. included, wear an all-black uniform in an anti-racism message in an international friendly against Guinea.

Before the game began, both sides stood behind a very strong anti-racism message which read, "With racism, there is no game" in Portuguese, according to the BBC.

While the all-black uniform was a statement message, Brazil changed to their iconic yellow and blue uniforms that have won them many World Cups and worn by greats like Pele, Ronaldo, and Neymar Jr.

Brazil National Team Demolishes Guinea in Anti-Racism Friendly

The anti-racism game between Brazil and Guinea was the first of two friendlies with African teams to promote their anti-racism message. It was played at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, where Brazil dominated the match at 4-1.

According to ESPN, this was Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton's international debut, with the youngster scoring his first international goal, which was also the opening goal of the match. A goal from Rodrygo then followed, with Eder Militao and Vinicius Jr. also adding to Brazil's tally.

However, it was not a perfect game for Brazil, as Guinea managed to score a goal when Guirassy Serhou caught Brazilian defenders napping and scored. Brazil was still too much for the African side, though, as the team showed why Brazil is still a favorite at the next World Cup in North America (USA, Mexico, Canada).

Brazil's next opponent will be Senegal in another international friendly to spread its anti-racism message. It will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on Tuesday.

Brazil's Next Coach Will Be Real Madrid Manager Carlo Ancelotti

Speaking of the international game, Brazil is proving that it is still searching for its next World Cup championship win. To do that, they hired Real Madrid Manager Carlo Ancelotti as their next coach.

According to Sports Illustrated, rumors are saying that Ancelotti will be leaving the Spanish soccer giants to coach Brazil, which is probably an all-star team in itself. The Italian is expected to take charge of the team in 2024. He reportedly met with the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Ednaldo Rodrigues, in Spain twice and reached an agreement.

Considered one of the most decorated soccer coaches, he has coached championship teams, including Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern Munich. He is expected to be the manager of the Brazil squad for the Copa America next year.
