Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is basking in newfound popularity, and it's not just because of his second Super Bowl win in February, according to the NY Post.

Kelce shared his experiences in handling the spotlight generated by his rumored relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift Friday.

Kelce mentioned, "I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl, and right now even more on top of the world, so it's fun, man," acknowledging the media frenzy around their rumored romance.

He admitted that dealing with the paparazzi is a learning curve but also stated, "At the same time, [the attention] comes with it. You've got a lot of people that care about Taylor, for good reason. So... just gotta keep living and earning and enjoying the moments."

The athlete, known for his ability to stay focused amid distractions, emphasized his priority of not causing any disruption in Kansas City, saying, "Everybody's having fun with it, you know, whether I think they're overdoing it or not."

This remark appeared to allude to his previous comment about the NFL's extensive coverage of the Swift-Kelce relationship, where he stated the league was "overdoing it."

He emphasized that his primary focus remains on winning football games and maintaining his commitment to his team.

Travis Kelce's Relationship with Taylor Swift

Kelce's whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift began when he attempted to meet her during one of her Eras Tour performances, Us Weekly noted.

However, Swift's strict show schedule prevented their encounter. He shared his experience on the "New Heights" podcast, saying, "So I was a little butthurt; I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her. She doesn't meet anybody - or at least she didn't want to meet me, so I took it personally."

In a surprising turn of events, Swift publicly accepted Kelce's invitation by attending one of his team's games against the Chicago Bears.

The two were seen spending time together in the VIP suite with Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce.

Swift continued to show her support by attending another Chiefs game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, joined by her celebrity friends, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, and Sabrina Carpenter.

An insider revealed, "They're taking it day by day, but she has high hopes. She likes that he's a normal, nice guy. He's down-to-earth and isn't affected by fame. She also thinks he's hot."

Travis Kelce's Reaction to Aaron Rodgers' 'Mr. Pfizer' Remarks

Travis Kelce responded to New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers' playful jab' when he referred to Kelce as "Mr. Pfizer," per ET Online.

This nickname arose due to Kelce's role as a spokesperson for the pharmaceutical company known for its COVID-19 vaccine campaign.

Travis Kelce reacted to Rodgers' comment, saying, "I thought it was pretty good. With this mustache right now, I look like a guy named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I'd get into the vax wars with Aaron Rodgers? Mr. Pfizer versus the Johnson & Johnson family over there."

The reference to "Johnson & Johnson" alludes to the vaccine-producing company and New York Jets owner Woody Johnson's connection to the Johnson & Johnson fortune.
