Kanye West revealed the first public photo of baby North West during an interview with Kris Jenner, mother of Kim Kardashian. The rapper also discussed his life with girlfriend Kim, baby North West and his adjustments to fatherhood. The interview aired Friday morning on the "Kris" show.

During the taping of the show, the picture of North West, who was born Jul. 12 of this year, was only on the studio's monitor for a brief time in order to prevent audience members from sneaking their own pictures. The picture is to air longer on television, however.

West, 36, got very emotional when asked questions about his 32-year old socialite girlfriend, Kardashian, 32.

"I could have people say, 'This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or designer.' And I say, you know, I don't care. I love this woman," West said during his interview.

This can be surprising to fans of West who is notorious for not getting along with paparazzi and the media. According to West, however, his love for Kim helps him prevail. "I love this person," West said. "She's worth it to me."

West also spoke about the impact that death has had on his life. His grandfather, Portwood William, Sr. recently died. West, Kardashian and their daughter attended the funeral in Oklahoma over the weekend. His mother, Donda West also died in 2007.

"There were times [after Donda's death], I would put my life at risk," West admitted. "I didn't have something to live for. Now I have two very special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for."

"Kris" will end its six-week run after the interview with West airs. The revealing of North West was rumored to be a tactic to increase the show's ratings so it would become a full time series.
