It certainly has been a roller-coaster ride this week for Tenille Dashwood, known in the WWE as Diva Emma.

TMZ reported that the 25 year-old female wrestler was arrested, fired from the WWE and then rehired in a matter of days.

Talk about a major head spin.

So why was Diva Emma even arrested?

Well, according to The New York Daily News, Emma was arrested in Connecticut on Monday on charges of stealing a $21 iPad case at a local Wal-Mart.

Wrestling Inc reported that upon her arrest, Emma was charged with "sixth-degree larceny after she stole an item from a Wal-Mart about "three miles away from the site of Monday's WWE event at the XL Center."

Wrestling Inc. reported that the "alleged theft was reported to police at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Monday and she was released at 2:13 p.m."

Upon hearing the theft news, WWE decided to release Emma from its roster and "wished her well 'in all her future endeavors,'" The New York Daily News reported.

However, Emma did not let the WWE give up on her that easily.

The Diva's attorney, Hubert Santos, argued that Emma had every intention to purchase the case but forgot to add the case to her self-checkout items and left without paying.

Shockingly enough, it seems the WWE believed Emma's story because a few hours after the theft incident and Emma's pleas, she was reinstated.

"Upon further evaluation, WWE has reinstated Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) but will take appropriate punitive action for her violation of the law," WWE wrote in an official statement.

The "punitive actions" have yet to be determined. However, Wrestling Inc. reported that Emma was ordered to participate in community service following her arrest.
