The first picture of North West, baby daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has finally been released.

Kanye unveiled the image of his daughter during the season finale of "Kris," the talk show hosted by Kim's mother and North's grandmother Kris Jenner.

The pic was only flashed onscreen for a moment in front of the live studio audience to prevent unauthorized photos, but now Jenner has posted the official pic on Twitter for all to see.

North West was born Jun. 15 in Los Angeles. Now she's a pudgy, chubby-cheeked baby. In the pic, she stares at the camera, reaching a tiny hand out toward the flash. She's clad in black and rests on a white towel. Kim posted the same photo later on Instagram.

Since the birth of North two months ago, Kim and Kanye have been careful to shield their daughter from the public eye. Kim has rarely been going out, spending most of her time cloistered indoors, both to keep North away from cameras and to take off as much baby weight before she gets back in the spotlight herself.

Many people speculated the couple would debut their baby in a magazine spread, or perhaps sell the photos. Instead, they opted to boost the ratings on Jenner's talk show, which just ended it trial run.

"It's all this talk about baby pictures and can you get paid for the baby picture or do you want to put it on a magazine. And for me and your daughter we have not attempted to get paid for anything, we have not attempted to put it on a magazine," Kanye said during his interview on "Kris."

"You just stop all of the noise and I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother's season finale to bring a picture of North," he said.

Later, Jenner tweeted, "I love this man! So glad that he's a part of my growing family... https://bit.ly/14LY3hj ."
