EA Sports is keeping the football spirit alive, despite the conclusion of the FIFA 2014 World Cup, with more updates on the much-awaited football video game about to hit next-gen consoles.

FIFA 15 promises a gameplay with features that focus on intensity and emotions. A new video was just released by the gaming company to give the fans a taste of how different the new installment will be, according to FIFA15Game.

The video shows a demonstration of this new feature, explaining how all 22 players on the field, the fans and the commentators are connected with each other and how they all react to the events of the match. For example, a striker could receive approval or dissatisfaction from his teammates whenever he kicks the ball toward the goal. A player could also build up tension with another player if he is fouled repeatedly, and the characters show diverse reactions on the referee's calls. Overall, there is more awareness between teammates and their opponents as well.

With more emotions, FIFA 15 aims to deliver a gaming experience more alive than ever before.

With regards to the actual gameplay and controls, FIFA 15 will not be very different from its predecessors, but the wide set of more than 600 new emotions will definitely change the experience, Washington Post reported.

Aside from the players' behavior and reactions, designated fans also behave quite differently from the previous games. They will be more life-like with responses similar to real-life counterparts of the teams' supporters. Furthermore, commentators are programmed to pick up on all these changes in emotions throughout the game.

The FIFA 15 official cover art has been released in the U.S. and in Canada showing Messi, who will not be alone on the display as he is joined by U.S. team captain Clint Dempsey, FIFA15Game reported. It will be available for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 starting Sept. 23.
