The fifth installment of the popular fantasy adventure film series "Pirates of the Caribbean" is already being produced with several location shots including Puerto Rico and New Orleans, which both have ideal settings that are essential for the movie's scenes, according to Deadline. It was announced that Norwegian directors Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning would be directing the film.

The producer of the films, Jerry Bruckheimer, has given few clues as to which villains and major creatures would be shown in the upcoming film. But we do know the title of the latest installment: "Dead Men Tell No Tales."

According to Hallels, Bruckheimer has suggested that the latest installment would be a straight-up pirate movie but without a kraken-like monster. This suggests that the following films will steer away from monsters chasing Jack Sparrow and his company.

Penelope Cruz, who portrayed the character of Angelica, will not be appearing in the fifth installment. There will also be fewer appearances by Elizabeth and Will whose stories seem to have been resolved previously. The plot could revolve around Jack following Captain Teague's words about getting the Trident.

The most likely release date for "Dead Men Tell No Tales" is July 7, 2017, Indie Wire reported. "Dead Men Tell No Tales" will follow the trend that started when Captain Jack Sparrow charmed everyone's hearts and attention after the first film, "Curse of the Black Pearl." Bruckheimer also said that the film would still have its share of magic, wit, and craftiness, which is what "Pirates" is all about.

The next film will allegedly start with a pirate wedding. However, Bruckheimer has not given the names of the people who are getting married. With a scheduled premiere so far away, many plot details and other plans could still be in the works. It could take at least two more years for fans to get any specific details about the movie.
