T-Mobile has reportedly banned employees from going on vacation from Sept. 20 through Sept. 22 in what appears to be a clear sign of an iPhone release date.

The timing of this all but confirms the rumors that have pointed towards a Sept. 10 unveiling date for the new iPhone. Through it all, Apple has remained relatively quiet as tech websites, experts, and news outlets have collaborated to determine the company's much-anticipated unveiling date; T-Mobile's apparent temporary ban on employee vacation makes it even more likely.

T-Mobile just recently hopped on the iPhone bandwagon when the iPhone 5 was released; the company offered special discounts to distinguish themselves from competing carriers who already loyal iPhone users.

The other rumor that has been all but confirmed via video clips is that Apple is planning to be releasing two different iPhones to cater to customers on different budgets. These phones will be named the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C, with the 5C being the cheaper one.

Everything remains unofficial since Apple has not yet confirmed any of the details about the unveiling date, the release date, or how many phones will be released.

Apple has traditionally released new iPhones on Fridays, which means the 20th makes sense if true. Cult of Mac reported that Verizon placed a vacation blackout for its employees starting on the 21st, but that's a day after the phone would hypothetically be released. Tech Crunch said that AT&T has also placed an employee ban but their dates are said to be from the 21st to the 30th.

Apple's silence on this process has worked to its advantage as the rumors continue to put fans on the edge of their seats. The buildup of anticipation will keep everyone ready before the flood gates open to the new iPhone.
