After a week with no identified suspects, police released security footage photos of two naked and one underwear-clad men who stole over 60 burger patties from the Bonita Springs, Florida, restaurant Doc's Beach House.

The three men broke into the eatery around 3 a.m. Sunday and took 60 pounds of hamburgers, three pounds of bacon, red bell peppers and a paddleboard. During the robbery, the men, presumed to be college-aged, were caught on security cameras throughout Doc's kitchen.

Later that morning, workers found a trail of red peppers strewn along the ground near a beach bathhouse about 100 yards away.

"They left a trail like Hansel and Gretel," Shelly Isom, a Doc's Beach House waitress, said. "One of them probably said after, 'Uh, guys, where did we leave our clothes?'"

The thieves remained at large for a week, leading authorities to release some censored photos of the culprits to the press. Authorities are unsure if the men are tourists or residents but are hoping tips from the public will lead them to the guilty parties.

The men in the video footage appear young and athletic. At one point, one of the men noticed the camera and the men covered their faces and genitals for a moment.

General manager of Doc's, Lou Bangert jokingly said two of his female waitresses wanted the naked bandits to come back.

"These two want to meet the bandits," Bangert said. "Everybody wants to work the night shift now."

Bangert went on to say that while he's had the cash register cleaned out and windows smashed, this is the strangest crime he's seen in Doc's 27 years.

Doc's Beach House and other Bonita Springs businesses have posted the photos on Facebook hoping that someone will identify the three men.

"Somebody has to recognize them," Bangert said.
