From the looks of a brand new trailer and new spoilers, Season 10 of "Bones" will be action-packed and full of surprises when it returns to Fox this fall.

Season 9's grand finale ended with Booth and Brennan's home being destroyed in a hail of gunfire and Booth ending up under arrest and in the hospital. According to TVLine, the new season will start four months later.

"For practical reasons that you'll see, it has a very big effect on their marriage," executive producer Jonathan Collier told TVLine. "Booth has to deal with the legal consequences of where they ended up."

Executive producer Stephen Nathan also dropped a hint that the couple may expand their family by giving their daughter Christine a younger brother or sister.

Nathan didn't confirm whether the couple would have another child, however the EP said that "the 'Bones' world will be expanding" in Season 10. He said, "Families grow. People have children."

On Friday, Fox debuted the first official Season 10 trailers at Comic-Con, which teases how the married couple will handle Booth's false arrest for the murder of three Delta Force henchmen, who are really a part of big government conspiracy.

In one clip, Booth is seen dressed in an orange jumpsuit and fighting with his fellow inmate.

Entertainment Weekly also reported that Fox might extend the season since Fox's entertainment chief hinted that he wants to bring the show back for Season 11.

"I hope it's not the last year. ... It's a fantastic series. It's famously moved all over our schedule for 10 years. ... It's [Boreanaz and Deschanel's] last year contractually, so we have to have that conversation. ... But I hope that will come back," he said.

"Bones" Season 10 premieres Thursday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
