Mariana Seoane decided to ease people's concerns about her friend, Juan Gabriel.

The actress assured that Juan Gabriel was in good spirits in Cancun, according to El Universal.

"I have been keeping up with his health, and I know that he is in Cancun recovering well, which makes me very happy," she said.

The singer had been noticeably quiet on his Twitter account for more than a month, but he perhaps took a break from social media as he was recovering from pneumonia. He is supposed to return to performing in September, when he will visit Newark, San Jose, Denver, Oakland and Los Angeles.

The tour kicks off Sept. 5 in Miami and the few shows will all take place in the United States.

Some expected him to come back sooner since he had been itching to get back on stage, but so far there hasn't been any changes regarding his return.

One of the last updates about the singer came from actor Diego Boneta, who posed with the singer and shared the image on Instagram.

Seoane also took the opportunity to talk about her next role as the villain in "Has El Fin Del Mundo."

Her character will try to get in the way of Pedro Fernandez and Marjorie de Sousa's love.

"I'm very happy and very excited to see that the audience is so connected with the story," she said. "I'm ready to face the rumors and speculation that arises around me and Julian Gil because of our steamy scenes."

Seoane has already been linked to past co-stars before, and she knows that audiences sometimes believe -- or perhaps are hoping -- that actors with good chemistry must be in romantic relationships off screen as well.

The show premieres July 28 in Mexico.
