Leah Remini is rumored to be joining the season 17 cast of "Dancing with the Stars," Us Weekly reports.

The King of Queens star hinted at a move to a television show Jul. 27.

"I'm deciding to do something right now, and we'll know in the next week." Remini said in an interview with Us Weekly. "It will be television. It might be in reality, sitcom world.

According to the web site, a source has confirmed that the move Remini was speaking about was a move to be the next winner of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

Remini recently starred in "Family Tools," an ABC sitcom based on the British series, "White Van Man." The show premiered May 1 of this year but was canceled Jul. 10.

Remini, 43, also made news this summer when she left the church of Scientology in July.

"I wish to share my sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming positive response I have received from the media, my colleagues and from fans around the world," Remini said in a statement to Us Weekly. "I am truly grateful and thankful for all your support."

After her departure, Remini filed a missing person's report for Michelle "Shelly" Miscavige, the wife of the head of Scientology, David Miscavige on Aug. 7. On Aug. 8, the Los Angeles Police ruled the report "unfounded."

"Mrs. Miscavige is not missing," an LAPD source said in an interview with The Daily News. "Investigators have made some type of contact with her. The investigation is completed and classified as unfounded."

Rumors reported by TMZ, say that Harper will also attempt to dance her way to the top in ABC's "Dancing with the Stars. According to the site, Harper's partner will be dancing professional Tristan MacManus.

The 17th season of "Dancing with the Stars" will premiere Sept. 16 at 8 p.m.
