After the finale of Andi Dorfman's season of "The Bachelorette," all eyes are on runner-up Chris Soules.

On Monday's finale, Dorfman became engaged to Josh Murray. According to People magazine, the decision was made two weeks ago.

"From an emotional perspective, it was tough going through the process, and falling in love with Andi and not having it work out, but I'm strong, and I've been there before and I'm going to figure it out," Soules told the magazine at the taping of the Men Tell All special.

Despite the disappointment, Soules is looking toward the future.

"I'm optimistic that my future is bright, and I'm definitely ready to move on," he continued.

Could that future include being the next Bachelor? Contrary to tradition, the next star of fellow ABC reality dating show "The Bachelor" was not announced during "The Bachelorette's" finale, but many fans suspect Soules could be the guy.

Although Dorfman turned Soules down, she seems to think he is a great catch.

"I mean, look at him," she told People. "Chris has the whole package. He is the all-American guy who is a farmer who does not look like a farmer, but he's also successful and he's ready for a family. He's going to be a great husband and a great father."

Dylan Pettit, who also competed on "The Bachelorette," has a lot of love for Soules as well. After Pettit was eliminated, the producers brought Soules to him before his exit interview for a personal goodbye.

"I was upset because I made two of my best friends off that show, Chris and Brian [Osborne], and they will be my best friends for the rest of my life," the Boston accountant said in an interview with Boston Herald this week. "[Soules] came over and gave me a hug, and we both kind of broke down. I wasn't very heartbroken at all about Andi. I was ready to go."
