Singer, reality star and Brandy's little brother Ray J has released a new song about regrets, TMZ reports. The song is titled "I Never Shoulda Did That" and it names a list of things Ray J should have never done.

Although the song is not entirely about Ray J's ex-girlfriend, it does mention what seems to be Ray J's biggest conquest -- Kim Kardashian. After releasing "I Hit it First" in 2013, it became pretty clear that Ray J holds himself responsible for what many claim was the beginning of Kardashian's career. "Kim Kardashian Superstar" had its debut back in 2007 and the infamous sex tape featuring Kardashian and Ray J became the premises (as argued by many) for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".

"Never Shoulda Did That," however, seems to be a huge apology to Ray J's current girlfriend Princess Love and the world. The song specifically describes the details of the night Ray J cheated on Princess Love. She even has a cameo in the music video and an actual voicemail recording playing in the background of her "drunkenly weeping" telling the singer how much she misses him. The lyrics also candidly express J's regrets over "popping pills", fighting at clubs, being drunk and arguing with friends.

The music video seems to have been shot by a friend following the singer around with a camera, but we guess you can categorize it as a "very personal video". Ray J hasn't released an actual album since 2009 but occasionally does release "in your face" singles. Many argue that he puts out such personal songs just to bring attention to himself and to make Kanye West upset. Even though Ray J claims to be over Kim Kardashian, she does pop up in his music.
