According to rumors floating around the tech world, Apple is preparing for the iOS 7 release date for Apple's Gold Master Version. Various web sites are claiming that the iOS 7 beta process is over and the Gold Master will be sent to app developers today.

Anonymous sources found by App Advice confirmed the rumor. The sources also say that the Gold Master version of the iOS 7 will also come with invitations to Apple's Sept. 10 event where the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and iOS 7 are expected to be released.

"While other rumors suggest Apple could wait to release iOS 7 Gold Master until after the iPhone event, the final version of iOS 7 is still likely to be available for download on Sept. 20, at least for the iPhone," Design & Trend reported.

News of the release of Apple's latest products was spread by a developer named Owen Williams who showcased an e-mail he received on his website.

"Dear NDEV Developer,

As you are probably aware, iOS 7 GA will be released on September 10th. The NDEV Program has pre-qualified that SPeechKit 1.4.5 works properly on iOS 7, but we encourage you to conduct your own testing to ensure that when the upgrade happens, your Nuance speech services continue to work seamlessly...," an excerpt from the e-mail said.

According to Williams, Nuance, the company that created Siri, sent the e-mail out to app developers. Williams said that Nuance has had a close relationship with Apple in the past, and, therefore, the e-mail is solid evidence.

The iOS 7 is slated to have numerous updates including some more minor ones such as limited ad tracking, the ability to block numbers from calling, texting and Facetime, auto close captioning and subtitles, an app store that categorizes popular apps by location and preset maps for walking and driving directions.

The iOS7 is expected to be easier, faster and more enjoyable for users. Apps will look different, but Apple claims they will have the same familiar feel users are used to. As a result re-learning should not be necessary in order to operate the iOS 7.
