Last week, Kelly Marcel, "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie screenwriter, detailed what it was like to pen all those raunchy scenes between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele and why Jamie Dornan may have earned an Oscar with his performance.

During an interview at Hollywood's DBA for the Reza Aslan-hosted "An Evening in the Writer's Room," Marcel revealed how hard it was to write sex scenes for the movie adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel, E! News reports.

"Mmmm...he's soft and hard at once, like steel encased in velvet, surprisingly tasty, salty and smooth. He's my own Christian Grey-flavored popsicle," Aslan said to Marcel, quoting a line from James' book.

According to Marcel, this line exemplifies why Dornan, who stars as Christian in the film, should get an Oscar for his ability to multitask.

"She says that, 'You are my popsicle.' That line went in, it's genius," Marcel explained. "They apparently did that scene great. Apparently Jamie is great at being soft and hard at the same time, which is hard to do for an actor! He's going to get an Oscar!"

Creating the sex scenes was not easy for Marcel. Simply writing "They made love" is not sufficient for a script, so Marcel had to be very detailed.

"I had to actually describe everything," she said. "It was really embarrassing when you're doing studio notes around the table with 12 people."

"Embarrassing" may be the operative word for others involved in the film. In fact, Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia, seems to feel that way when it comes to having her parents view the film. In an interview published by IndieWire last week, Melanie Griffith, Johnson's mother, said she will not see "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"I don't think I'm going to see it," she said. "[Johnson] was like, 'You guys [Griffith and Johnson's father, Don Johnson,] cannot come. There's no way. So we're not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
