Katy Perry does it again: The singer released a video showing her getting her nose pierced for her more than 6.7 million followers on Instagram, according to The Improper. In the video, Perry was shown reclining on a chair as the professional piercer pushed a needle through the side of her nose.

In the video's caption, Perry said that last time she did the piercing on her own using a safety pin and an ice cube. She was 13 years old at the time. She said this time she wanted a professional to do it for her, and she told her mom sorry yet again, Digital Spy reported.

Katy Perry's parents, who are very religious, are known to be very strict in interpreting the Bible, which means that piercings are not allowed. However, Katy Perry has been doing almost anything she wants these days. The piercing was done during her downtime in the U.S. leg of her latest tour.

She was in Ohio last Thursday and performed in Kentucky on Aug.16. She was heard to release an "ow!" when her nasal passage was pierced. The video was quite close-up so the piercing was very clear.

Katy Perry, who is 29 years old, is currently doing "The Prismatic World Tour" that is now playing across North America. Observers are saying that singers actually have too much time on their hands. For some, she just upped Miley Cyrus, who's been known to get new tattoos constantly.

Katy Perry's current tour will see her perform in 46 cities to promote her newest album entitled "Prism" that was released in the last quarter of 2013.
