Actor Johnny Depp is set to star in a film with his daughter, Lily-Rose. The Kevin Smith-directed project is being named a "comic book movie," and will also star Smith's daughter Harley Quinn.

This week Smith is scheduled to shoot principal photography for the action-adventure movie entitled "Yoga Hosers," according to Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Smith, the plot of "Yoga Hosers" focuses on two 15-year-old girls Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie, played by Depp and Smith's daughters. The teens are intensely involved in yoga and both work an after-school job at a convenience store. When evil forces try to ruin the girls' invitation to a Grade 12 party, the Colleens join forces with a legendary hunter Guy Lapointe, played by Depp. According to producers the girls and Lapointe fight with "all seven Chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time."

Smith's "Yoga Hosers" is his next project following "Tusk," the middle installment in his True North trilogy of films based on Canadian myth and culture. "Tusk" will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September and the entire cast is scheduled to return for the filming of "Hosers."

This list of actors includes Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Michael Parks, Genesis Rodriguez, Ralph Garman and Harley Morenstein. New members on this project include Tony Hale, Adam Brody, Tyler Posey, Natasha Lyonne, Austin Butler and Jason Mewes.

The film's director, a comic book fanatic who has written titles for Marvel and DC before, said "Yoga Hosers" is his take on the movie genre.

"People always ask me 'Are you ever going to make a comic book movie?'" Smith said. "This is it-but instead of yet another dude saving the day, our antiheroes are the most feared and formidable creatures man have ever encountered: two 15-year-old girls."
