Harry Styles reportedly turned down the opportunity to make out with ex-girlfriend Cara Delevingne in an upcoming movie.

According to MailOnline, renowned film producer Harvey Weinstein offered the One Direction member a role in his new movie "Tulip Fever," which is set to feature a star-studded cast including "Skyfall" actress Judi Dench, "Django Unchained" actor Christoph Waltz, "Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis, as well as the Victoria's Secret Angel.

However, the "Midnight Memories" hitmaker had to say no to his possible film debut due to his schedule conflict with touring. "I offered Harry Styles a role in 'Tulip Fever' but he was touring so he had to turn it down," said Weinstein.

The prestigious role ended up being taken by a "Glee" actor instead. "The part ended up going to Matthew Morrison and let me tell you this, the very first scene he shot was one of him kissing Cara Delevingne," the producer revealed.

"So I'm sure Harry won't be turning down the next role I offer him," he jokingly added.

When asked what it is about Styles that made him reach out to him to offer a movie role, Harvey Weinstein said: "He's like Errol Flynn, he's got that swashbuckling charm. Definite star potential. I think he'd be great. No question."

Meanwhile, 1D mentor Simon Cowell recently predicted that the British boyband, signed to his record label Syco Entertainment, will eventually split and pursue solo careers. "Bands don't stay together forever," he told Daily Star. "I think they will make at least two more albums together, and they are in the middle of one right now."

When asked whether he thinks One Direction will split because of Harry Styles possibly pursuing a solo career, the "X Factor" judge addressed the recent rumors: "No, I don't think that is going to happen for a while. Eventually, I am sure they all will."
