B.o.B. releases a brand new track titled "New Black" in response to the tragic death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in the Ferguson, Missouri shooting.

The Georgia-native emcee is the latest artist to join fellow rappers like T.I., J. Cole and Nelly on the ongoing uproar in the hip-hop community -- helping out the victim's family and the city of Ferguson that has been troubled by the thoughtless murder of a police officer.

Bobby Ray opens up the self-produced song by questioning what it means to be a black man -- whether he should be wearing gold chains and grills or be more influential like Martin Luther King Jr.?

The "Nothin' on You" hitmaker then encourages his community: "I'm just on some black mob sh*t / The best way to protest is hit 'em where it hurts, their pockets / It's time to boycott sh*t."

At the end of the powerful track, B.o.B. preaches another powerful message, urging people to put an end to social injustice by stop complaining and putting more effort into taking real action.

"We gotta stop saying the same things and just do something different," he says. "All this energy that we're putting into protesting, we should put it into our community, put it into starting businesses, put it into your kids."

In addition, the "Airplanes" rapper took to his Twitter to raise awareness. "If you stand for nothing you fall for anything," he wrote. "We all cry, we all hurt, but in the end... all we have is each other."
