This has got to be the best couple response ever: amid a cheating scandal, Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton kissed and cuddled on the red carpet at the singer's album release party on Wednesday, Sept. 4 in New York City.

Daily News reports that Thicke and Patton got all cozy on the red carpet, their PDA clearly a statement to the media that Thicke's cheating scandal has had no negative effect on the couple's marriage. Looking stunning in her orange dress, Patton looked genuinely affectionate towards her husband of 8 years, while Thicke returned the adoration right back.

The cheating scandal surfaced after 20-year-old Lana Scolaro disclosed that she and Thicke made out at an MTV VMA after-party Aug. 25, and that wife Paula was merely a few feet away, witnessing the spectacle and condoning her husband's indiscretions. Scolaro posted a racy picture of Thicke and her together on Instagram, with the mirror behind them revealing a firm butt-grab.

Scolaro claims that the "Switch" singer did more than some butt-grabbing. The blonde party girl told Life & Style magazine that Thicke brought her and Paula to another party, where he approached her as she was coming out of the bathroom and said, "I just love the fact that you're so young," before switching off the lights in the bathroom and making out with her, according to the Daily News. Scolaro however clarified that nothing else happened between them that night.

In an earlier interview with Prestige Magazine, Thicke had praised his wife Paula, saying he'd be lost in life without Patton by his side. He said, "She's been my rock, my muse, my inspiration and I love her. The whole way." Though they married in 2005, the couple had been in a relationship since they were 14 years old, making their relationship one of the most enduring unions in show business.
