Mark your calendars! "Assassin's Creed: Unity," also known as "Assassin's Creed 5," will be rolling out on Oct. 28, according to IGN.

It will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is being created by several developers all under Ubisoft -- Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Quebec City, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Shanghai, Ubisoft Singapore, Ubisoft Romania and Ubisoft Kiev.

The new version of the game will be set in Paris during the French Revolution in 1789. The city that has been created is more immersive and dense. The starving residents of the city were compelled to take up arms and fight for equality and freedom.

Arno, a young man, will set off to avenge the loss of the people he loved. He will be drawn into the midst of the Revolution and the struggle to change the nation's fate, which will transform him into a Master Assassin.

Players will have the chance to explore the stunningly-created full scale open world of Paris. It also gives the single player, who can join up with three other players, full control over parkour mechanics, crowd manipulation techniques, cover system, a new stealth mode and a reinvented fighting system. All this will give the players a richer experience in combat and they can channel their inner Assassin to customize outfits, specialized skills, equipment and weapons to match their own playing style. In the co-op mode, they can even select their own skill to help the team evade, fight and survive.

However, Joystiq announced that in Unity there will be no multiplayer modes where you can pit your skills against other players. Ubisoft said that they were responding to fans' requests for the new type of multiplayer experience, which is the four-player co-op. They likewise said that the co-op playing mode is something they have been wanting to explore for some time.
