Thursday's release of the full version trial of "Madden 15" didn't go as smoothly as EA Sports planned it. Many gamers couldn't get access to the special early release of the game from the subscription service EA Access and they voiced their anger on social media, GottaBeMobile first reported.

EA Access tried to calm the nerves of angry users who couldn't get access to their special six-hour trial of "Madden 15" ahead of the full release on Aug. 26, but many demanded they receive more hours of gameplay for all of their troubles.

Six hours doesn't seem like much time to play a game that requires usually at least an hour to make it through an entire regular simulation match against the computer.

Users spent about three hours downloading the version of the game only to find the error message "please insert Madden 15 disc." Well, there is no disc, so they got pretty frustrated and confused.

EA Access has tweeted that they fixed the issue, but that's after a rocky start Thursday.

Game Gets Good Reviews

USAToday had good things to say about the newest Madden game. They said this year's version of Madden on the next-generation systems is very impressive. They praised the improved intelligence of the defensive players as well.

Online gaming critic MetaCritic gave Madden an 82 combined score. Only 10 critics have reviewed the game so far, nine of them were positive ratings and one was "mixed."
