The season finale of "Legend of Korra" was as thrilling as it was sad.

Korra decides to turn herself to Zaheer to save the airbenders, but she quickly finds out that she has been tricked by him. Bolin, Mako and Asami are supposed to get the airbenders back, but they find out that it is only Tenzin. The other airbenders are not there.

Korra, however, has already given herself in, and there's not much she can do. She was in platinum handcuffs and she couldn't bend her way out of them. Though Korra has backup, Zaheer pulls an unexpected move. Now that he has lost P'Li, he has no earthly bounds, and he is able to fly.

Korra is poisoned by Zaheer, who says that she will go into avatar state, which is when they will kill her. This will end the Avatar cycle.

Zaheer almost gets away with it, but it is Jinora's quick thinking that saves her life. In the end, she gets her airbender tattoos, but Korra, who had the poison in her system for much too long, is weak and fragile.

Instead of the powerful and strong avatar, she is bound by a wheelchair, and she even cries at the ceremony.

These are five burning questions that will remain unanswered until Book Four, which will be completely digital.

1. How many Red Lotus members are there?

Before Zaheer was captured, he told everyone that, even though Korra was still alive, there was already disorder in the Earth Kingdom. The president of Republic City pointed out that there was no way to know how many Red Lotus members there were.

2. How long will Korra take to recover?

The final scene took place two weeks after her big battle with Zaheer, but Korra was already desperate to get back out there. In one scene, everyone is telling Korra that she is looking better every day. After she has left, they reveal that they were lying to her. The poison was in her system for a long time, and there's no telling if it will have other side effects.

3. What will happen to the Earth Kingdom?

The Earth Queen was killed, and Zaheer explained that there was already a revolution underway. The situation is so problematic that the airbenders are going to try to help Korra do her job. They are trying to set balance, but they haven't been airbenders for long, and it has not been revealed how dire the situation is.

4. Will Zaheer escape?

Zaheer is the strongest airbender, and he now has a personal vendetta against Korra. He has escaped a high security prison once before, so will he able to pull it off again?

5. Will there be any new advanced bending skills?

Lava and flying were introduced this season, so there may still be more to come. But what will they be?
