For many of football fans across the world, Sundays are a day for triumph in fantasy football. Numerous drafts are underway across globe with the best and most valuable players going early. Drafting overrated players must be avoided, while getting top value for underrated sleepers in later rounds. Quarterbacks are usually the most high profile players because of high numbers and statistics they put up.

Here are five highly notable quarterbacks you should keep an eye for this season.

Must Have

Peyton Manning

If you get the No. 1 overall pick in your league, select this guy. Manning rewrote the record books last season with one of the greatest single season in NFL history. Last year, Manning threw for 5,477 yards, 55 touchdowns and a 115.1 rating. Even at 38 years old, Manning shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Many people will draft Adrian Peterson or another running back No. 1 overall, but running backs come at a higher risk. In today's NFL, quarterbacks are barely even allowed to get touched. Manning never runs with the ball, so his risk of injury is extremely low. Manning is certainly a fantasy football stud for any draftee.

Drew Brees

The 5,000 yard mark has only been reached in a single season by a quarterback eight times in NFL history. Drew Brees is responsible for four of those. In fact, Brees has passed for 5,000 yards the last three seasons, making him the only quarterback to eclipse that mark more than once. Bottom line: If you want yards, then Brees is your man.

Outside of passing yards, Brees has thrown for more than 30 touchdowns the last six consecutive seasons, twice for more than 40 touchdowns. In his eight years with the New Orleans Saints, Brees has only missed one game. He, like Manning, is a low risk player who is rarely injured. The Saints also have one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. Other than Manning, Brees is the only other quarterback worth a No. 1 overall pick.

Worth a High Pick

Some quarterbacks are underrated when it comes to their true value. A mid to late first round pick could turn into a steal for these quarterbacks.

Ben Roethlisberger

The Pittsburgh Steelers are historically a run-first defensive team, so the quarterback usually gets overshadowed. Ben Roethlisberger isn't going to light it up like Peyton Manning, but his numbers are among the top tier quarterbacks in the league. Roethlisberger's touchdown passes have increased every year since 2010.

Running backs LeGarrette Blount and Le'Veon Bell may be facing a suspension from coach Mike Tomlin. With your top two backs potentially out, Roethlisberger is going to have to play than he ever has before. Wide receiver Antonio Brown has shown he has a terrific connection with Roethlisberger as he had 1,499 yards last season through the air.

Phillip Rivers

Rivers is a streaky quarterback. He's not the most consistent, but when he's playing at his best, he can put great fantasy numbers. Last season, the San Diego Chargers quarterback had a tremendous season throwing for 4,478 yards, 32 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions.

Rivers has thrown for over 4,000 yards five of the last six seasons. He also hasn't missed a single game since being named the full-time starter in 2006. If Peterson, LeSean McCoy, Brees and Manning are already off the board and you have a late first round pick, Rivers could be your guy.

Take a Chance

Andy Dalton

Every year there's a quarterback who emerges as a fantasy football sleeper amongst the greats. If statistical trends continue in Cincinnati, Andy Dalton will be this year's up and comer.

Dalton recently signed a six-year $115 million contract with the Bengals. He'll be under a lot of pressure this season, but he should be up for the challenge. Every single season of his career, Dalton's yards, touchdowns, wins, passer rating and completions have increased. Dalton has also never missed a game in his young three year career. Fortunately for Dalton, he is throwing to one of the best receivers in the league, AJ. Green.
