Singer CeeLo Green has been facing legal matters, but now he may have just caused more problems in other parts of his life.

Green pled no contest to a lawsuit that said he gave a woman ecstasy at a date, and he took to Twitter to voice some of his opinions, according to The Guardian.

"People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!" he wrote on the social media platform.

Green's lawyer is arguing that the two had consensual sex, but the woman said she does not remember what happened after having dinner with Green and then waking up in his bed.

The series of tweets were deleted, but as with other things on the Internet, they were screen grabbed by a user.

"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent," said another Tweet.

He then said that if he really raped the woman, then she should be able to show proof. He compared rape to someone breaking into a home, where something like glass on the floor could show how it happened.

Green will have to complete 45 days of community service and will have a three-year probation.

The singer deleted the tweets and apologized for his comments. He first thanked God for being exonerated and called the judicial system fair. He also said his comments were misunderstood.

"I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this," he said. "Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I'd never condone the harm of any women. Thank you."

His Twitter account was reportedly deleted earlier on Tuesday, but it seems to be back, although, perhaps, his comments lost him many fans as currently has 110,000 followers.
