The Moto X+1 will be launching very soon. The target date is Sept. 4, something which this has already been confirmed by Motorola. According to Know Your Mobile, the launch date will also see the release of the Moto 360. The launch will be held at Motorola Chicago, a day after the launch of Samsung's Note 4. It has also been revealed that Sony will have its own announcement on the same day.

It seems, gauging from the invitation released by Motorola, that there will be a Bluetooth kit designed for the ear and packed with several features that will make hands-free talking that much easier.

Based on the leaked designs of Moto X+1, there will be a loudspeaker at the handset's bottom side. There might also be one at the top of the display. In each corner is a sensor, and the larger logo on the back will be the power button. The camera is also wider because of the rounded flash around the edges of the unit.

Based on the leaks, Moto X+1 will have a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It will feature 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage space, a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (or 801) CPU and will run on Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat. It is said that the back camera will have a 12 MP sensor and a 2 MP front camera and that the unit will be shipped with a built-in pedometer. It is likely that the chipset is Snapdragon 801, the same chipset as in the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Based on the leaks, some of which came from Motorola itself, most of the features of the new unit have been revealed. Likewise, based on the leaks that have been coming ahead of the launch, the expected price of the Moto X+1 will start at $400 off contract, with an additional $50 to $100 on contract prices.
