Nintendo America has just released a new schedule for the Wii U.

The scheduled release contains about 20 games covering the rest of 2014 and all of 2015. However, almost all of the games are on a tentative schedule, Forbes reports.

There are concerns that some of the scheduled releases for 2014 might not materialize, including the release of "Super Smash Bros. 4."

Interestingly, one that caught a lot of people's attention is that the new Wii U "Star Fox" is included in the 2015 schedule, together with the Wii U version of "Zelda."

"Zelda" was officially previewed during this year's E3 but there was nothing said about "Star Fox," and fans are wondering where Shigeru Miyamoto will take the game.

Some might take the announcement as Nintendo's way to convince gamers that they are fully supporting Wii U and that there will be plenty of games that will be available soon.

Nintendo is confirming that "Star Fox," the starship shooter game, will have its debut next year together with "Zelda" for Wii U. These two games were still in the early stages of development when they were announced at the Electronic Expo last June.

According to VentureBeat, Nintendo was initially saying that the game would be available before 2016.

Along with the projected release of Zelda and Star Fox, the company said "Project Giant Robot" and "Project Guard" of Shigeru Miyamoto would be released as well.

Nintendo seems to have realized that they need to deliver the experiences expected by consumers themselves since there are fewer third party companies that are creating games for home consoles.

Nintendo's goal is also to prove why the Gamepad's tablet-like controller is needed by Wii U.

The Gamepad has a large touchscreen, which is needed when playing "Star Fox," because it will allow them to look around the ship and be able to fire shots at enemies with precision.
