Sam Smith is a 22-year-old award-winning British soul singer and songwriter. Last month he released his single, "I'm not the Only One," as a digital download in the U.K. following its release in the United States in July.

It was the fourth single from his first studio album, "In the Lonely Hour," which was released last May. On Sept. 9, a remix of the song was released featuring A$AP Rocky, an American rapper.

This official remix is a bitter version of the song, with the first verse going like this: "Dine at Ciprianis like Beyoncé, they're getting by or they're getting bodied / So Sasha Fierce, a whole lot of tears." The melancholy and depression continues in the second verse: "Jack Daniels for breakfast, a cap of Valium mixed with antidepressants / My momma said that we need love / Till I found out life's a bitch with no no prenup."

Rocky's final verse towards the end of the remix focuses on his mistakes in previous relationships and how they took an emotional toll on his career as well as his life.

Sam Smith sadly crooning at the end of the song makes the remix something that should bring out the deep and sad feelings real fast.

The song, which will be available on iTunes, started with a collaboration after the release of the album and its various singles. It was a good collaboration because of the contrast of singing style between the two partnered with some gritty rapping and a soulful voice.

It first premiered on Sam Smith's SoundCloud account, with Rocky appearing at the beginning of the song, calmly flowing over the slowed down beat.

Sam Smith continues to promote his album, "The Lonely Hour," and also announced that he will soon have his "In The Lonely Hour Tour 2015" in the U.K.
