R&B newcomer August Alsina reportedly remains hospitalized after experiencing 'multiple seizures' earlier this week.

TMZ previously reported that Alsina, who won the Best New Artist of the Year at 2014 BET Awards, collapsed unconscious in the middle of his performance at downtown Manhattan's Irving Plaza on Monday night. He was walking towards the front of the stage when he suddenly fainted and fell into the crowd.

Witnesses claimed that the security guards quickly removed the New Orleans singer backstage, and the paramedics then arrived to the venue and took him out on a stretcher to treat him. They added that he was alert enough to wave to fans on the way out.

Alsina's representative said that doctors did not find any drugs other than marijuana in his system and believe the collapse was due to exhaustion and dehydration. According to the latest update, the "I Luv This Sh*t" crooner is still in the ICU of a New York City hospital to receive treatment for the seizures.

On the same day of fainting, Alsina released a brand new music video for Drumma Boy and The Exclusives-produced "No Love (Remix)" featuring Nicki Minaj off his critically acclaimed debut album "Testimony." In the visual directed by Benny Boom, the duo plays each other's significant other, whose love is being tested.

The "Don't Forget About Me" singer recently discussed shooting the racy visual with the Young Money emcee. "Nicki was very, very deeply involved with this one in particular, as far as the video goes," he old Rap-Up TV. "She had a vision for it and she really, really is a big fan of the record, which was real important to me because it makes it that much more special."

August Alsina is slated to open Usher's upcoming 27-city "The UR Experience" tour.
