A case brought to court by rapper Nicki Minaj's former wig designer has been dismissed by a U.S. district judge. The multi-million dollar lawsuit claimed Minaj and Pink Personality LLC had stolen the stylist's designs and shut him out of plans for a wig line and reality TV show.

Terrence Davidson filed a $30 million lawsuit against Minaj, explaining that he had been the singer's wig designer and she and the company Pink Personality had stolen his designs before backtracking on a promise that included him in a wig line and reality TV show, according to TMZ.

A judge threw out the case, claiming Davidson did not have enough proof to argue his designs had been stolen or that any promise was made concerning the wig line and TV show.

According to the Associated Press, U.S. District Judge Harold Murphy, threw out the case in Atlanta on Tuesday. Minaj's lawyers had filed a motion to dismiss back in May, arguing Davidson did not have a valid claim.

Judge Murphy agreed, explaining Davidson's claims were not viable. He explained that any verbal promise made by Minaj or her representatives were too vague for Davidson to rely on them. He added that his wig designs were not in any way distinguished from others worn by the rapper and he made no attempt to point out his handiwork to the public.

Davidson explained in his lawsuit he began working for Minaj in early 2010 and he designed various wigs the singer wore during appearances in London and a Video Music Awards pre-show. He also designed the wigs she wore in the music video for "SuperBass."

However, he stopped working with her in early 2013. By then the promised wig line and reality TV show were not to include Davidson. He claims Minaj's team shut him out, adding that she took his designs without his consent.
