Dying to know where Miley Cyrus and her twerking outfit went after she left the Video Music Awards early? If you were (you obviously were), it turns out she was in the studio with none other than Kanye West, who also left the much-talked about awards show early last month.

Directly after her raunchy and controversial performance of "We Can't Stop" and "Blurred Lines," Cyrus went immediately to the studio to work on the "Black Skinhead" remix with Kanye West, producer Mike Will Made It revealed.

The 24-year-old Georgia-based record producer told MTV News that he and Cyrus watched the VMAs for a bit, and then went to the studio to meet up with kanye. Mike Will Made It, who's real name is Michael Len Williams, is the executive producer of Cyrus's fourth studio album "Bangerz," which drops Oct. 4.

"We're all working on that and it's about done. We're touching the beat up a little bit," Williams told MTV News, on the "Black Skinhead" remix. "It sound crazy."

Williams believes that Cyrus's controversial performance was a success, as it has been in the headlines for weeks. "It was entertainment," he said. "She does pop music, so she did exactly what she supposed to do. She made the world talk about her for over a week and they're still talking about her. We're talking about her right now, so she won."

Williams also said that the performance was approved by Kanye himself. "Ye is somebody who understands it," he said. "People that understand it aren't gonna have anything too negative to say about the performance."

"It's really the people who don't understand it and it's really the media," he continued. "Because if you ask a regular person they're gonna [say] she was turnt up for the performance but it wasn't the whole crazy uproar. She coulda did much worse. I felt like the performance was great. She's 20 years old and she's having a great time."

With her upcoming album, which features appearances by Britney Spears and Nelly, we can expect Cyrus to constantly making headlines in one way or another. Earlier this week, she released the video for "Wrecking Ball," which also has everyone talking.
