DJ Mister Cee, who resigned from his job as radio host on New York's Hot 97, returned to the station a day later to discuss accusations that he was soliciting sex from a transvestite prostitute and to come clean about his personal life.

Before the emotional discussion on Sept. 12, DJ Mister Cee, whose real name is Calvin LeBrun, was accused of soliciting sex from a drag queen and prostitute after a seven-minute long video was uploaded onto YouTube by Bimbo Winehouse as "proof."

"I'm tired," DJ Mister Cee said during his Sept. 12 return to Hot97. "Have I lied about getting sexual fellatio with a transgender in the car? Yes, I have lied about it, and I feel bad that it did take a video for me to say this because I have been in denial with this for a very long time. Do I consider myself gay? No. I do... I have gotten fellatio from transvestites, and that's as far as it went. I never had sexual intercourse with another man."

The confession was a jaw-dropping one, especially for one in DJ Mister Cee's field. DJ Mister Cee is a host on a hip-hop radio station. Very few hip-hop stars have come out as gay. In fact, many rappers have or have had prominent homophobic attitudes in the past.

"Am I still gonna be looked at the same way?," DJ Mister Cee said through tears. "My whole fear of this whole thing of what I've been going through is most importantly my family. I don't talk about my family too much, but my whole thing was just really about making sure my family was gonna be alright because when I tell you I'm gonna be alright, I'm gonna be alright."

DJ Mister Cee has a lot to lose from his confession. His career is filled with myriad innovations. He is the man who turned over the late Notorious B.I.G.'s demo tape to Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs, who subsequently turned the rapper into a legend. This was after DJ Mister Cee did his own reconstruction on the demo. The radio host was also a popular mixtape DJ in the '90s and is now host of one of the most powerful and recognizable hip hop radio stations in America.

It has yet to be determined if hip hop is ready to accept a man with gay tendencies.

"I really feel like I let y'all down," DJ Mister Cee said during the interview. The DJ also said that he suffers from addiction to stripper s and prostitutes. "I am tired of trying to do something or be something that I am not," he said.

According to DJ Mister Cee, the video was recorded almost a year ago.
