Kendrick Lamar recently discussed a highly anticipated upcoming album other than his own: Lil Wayne's 11 and last solo album "Tha Carter V."

While sitting down with Los Angeles' hip-hop radio station Power 106 to promote his self-love preaching new single "i," the Compton emcee hinted at his possible guest appearance on the New Orleans rapper's latest project.

When asked about the duo teaming up, Lamar refused to confirm. "Can I say that? Am I on 'Tha Carter V'?" he said. "Umm, I wouldn't know. I gotta see. I don't wanna say."

However, K. Dot did reveal that he and Tunechi have worked together recently, although he is unsure how their track will end up being released.

"Me and Wayne worked. I don't know if it'll be on 'Tha Carter V' or it'll be a leak," he said. "I've always been a fan of Wayne, so wherever it goes, it's all love with me. I'm just honored to work with bro -- he's always been an influential cat coming up."

As Lamar said, Mr. Carter has certainly inspired the "B***h Don't Kill My Vibe" hitmaker musically. For instance, his successful 2008 sixth studio album "Tha Carter III," which features numerous hits "Mr. Carter," "A Milli," "Got Money," "Mrs. Officer," "Lollipop" and more, influenced Lamar to drop his 2009 mixtape "C4."

Also, the pair's potential collaboration on "Tha Carter V," which is set for a release on Oct. 28, will not be the first time they have worked together. Back in June, they appeared together along with Future on Mike WiLL Made-It's single "Buy the World" off his debut album "Est. in 1989 Pt. 3."

In addition, the "Swimming Pools" rapper dropped a brief yet unforgettable freestyle over a "Lunch Table" beat while talking to the LA Leakers. Check out his interview and dope verse below:
