"Orange Is the New Black" cast members Dascha Polanco and Selenis Leyva may have to sport bland, orange jail uniforms as an inmates at the Litchfield Penitentiary on the popular Netflix dramedy, but when they're not on the clock, these ladies know how to work the red carpet.

Both Polanco and Leyva were dressed to the nines when they attended the Vanidades Annual Icons of Style Gala on Sept. 18 at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. The dynamic duo posed for a picture for Latin Post and shared their excitement for Season 3.

Proud of their Latin backgrounds -- Polanco is Dominican (she plays Dayanara Diaz) and Leyva is Cuban and Dominican (she plays Gloria Mendoza), the two talented Latinas came out in support of their fellow Latinas and Latinos, including the legendary Rita Moreno, who received the Iconic Woman of Style 2014/Lifetime Achievement Award from Vanidades (she also spoke exclusively with Latin Post about the honor.)

Vanidades is the first and most widely read Spanish-language women's lifestyle magazine in the United States and Latin America.

Other notable Vanidades Icon Award recipients included Cuban-American fashion designer Narcisco Rodriguez, Puerto Rican actress Roselyn Sanchez, Spanish-American contemporary artist Domingo Zapata and Spanish soccer player David Villa, among others.

Over 200 guests were in attendance at the event, which was hosted by Lili Estefan and Raul De Molina of Univision's "Gordo y la Flaca" and featured a performance by Grupo Erik.

In addition to the "OITNB" actresses, other guest at the Vanidades Awards included actress Kelly Rutherford, Vogue Editor at Large Candy Pratts-Price, fashion designer Catherine Malandrino and businessman and Sofia Vergara's ex-fiancé, Nick Loeb, among others.

While the two talented Latinas couldn't dish too much about the upcoming Season 3 details, they said the plot would thicken and that they were really looking forward to the new season.

So what are Polanco and Leyva and the rest of the "OITNB" cast up to in the latest season? No más George "Pornstache" Mendez a.k.a. actor Pablo Schreiber?

Considering that corrections officer George "Pornstache" Mendez was arrested and sent to prison in Season 2 on allegations that he had sexual intercourse with inmate Daya and got her pregnant, it looks as though there will be a new addition, and essentially a replacement.

Reportedly, Marsha Stephanie Blake is the latest addition to the cast of "OITNB" Season 3. She is supposed to be the new corrections officer at Litchfield Penitentiary. Her character's name is "Berdie," International Business Times points out.

Blake has a recurring role, The Hollywood Reporter adds.

Schreiber, who spoke exclusively with Latin Post, has a leading role in HBO's "The Brink" and reportedly decided that having a lead role would better suit his career path.

While "Pornstache" exits, Mary Steenburgen has signed on to play the role of his mother in "OITNB" Season 3, IBT reports.

"In addition to Steenburgen, Mike Birbiglia and Blair Brown have also joined the Season 3 cast of Netflix's original dramedy series. Laura Prepon is returning as a series regular in Season 3. The actress has confirmed that her character Alex Vause will appear in all the episodes of the upcoming season. Vause may end up in the prison once again," IBT adds.

"Orange is the New Black" Season 3 is expected to premiere sometime in June 2015. Jenji Kohan, creator of this drama comedy, has said that to a certain extent 'faith' will be the theme of the new season."
