This week was busy for Latin celebrities dropping big announcements on social media.

Former Miss Universe Dominican Amelia Vega announced via Instagram that she and professional basketball player Al Horford are expecting their first child together on Monday. Vega shared an adorable photo announcement of the couple "expecting to pop," a fake movie poster featuring the duo blowing bubble gum and holding hands. Her baby bump is visible under her fitted t-shirt.

"With great joy we announce that we are expecting our first son," Vega captioned the photo. "A beautiful gift that we will gladly receive from our Heavenly Father in March, 2015."

Under Mr. and Mrs. Horford's image, a film rating of "B for boy" reveals they are expecting a son. The couple has been married since 2011.

According to People en Espanol, singer Anahí is now engaged to her politician boyfriend, Manuel Velasco. The Governor of Chiapas, Mexico, reportedly proposed to his famous girlfriend over the weekend, making her "the happiest person in the world."

While Anahí did not confirm the news directly, she did share a photo on her Instagram Monday of the couple walking hand-in-hand. The blurry photo appears to show Anahí smiling at her beau, although it is hard to tell.

The couple have been dating since 2012, but neither have made statements on this new step in their relationship.

Last week, Eugenio Derbez's eldest daughter, Aislinn, shared some big news and a sneak peek at her new modeling gig as a Calvin Klein model in Mexico. The 27-year-old Mexican actress shows off one of her looks in an Instagram photo.

"Today is the launch of the first campaign Calvin Klein made in Mexico," her caption translated said. "Happy to be part of this project!"

On Friday, Derbez also posted an image of a large photo of the advertising campaign of her and fellow spokesmodel Luis Ernesto Franco admiring their work.
