At the beginning of "Va Por Ti," Galilea Montijo reminded the contestants and judges that one team captain and his or her entire team would soon be gone.

But guest judge Laura Pausini came to relieve tension. She performed her new song, "Sino a Ti."

The bottom three from last week were Paloma Carrasco, Arias Martin and Joyce Paulino. Carrasco was saved by the audience's vote, and the judges saved Paulino, which means Martin was eliminated. This was the first contestant from El Dasa's team to be eliminated.

The first round sent two people from each group to duet. Victor and Jose Enrique were the judges' least favorite, which put Dulce Maria in the awkward position of having to choose between two people from her team. Ultimately, she saved Jose Enrique.

For the next round, the contestants sang rancheras, and each contestant was joined by mariachi.

Ricardo, who went up against Yazaira and Stephanie, was at the risk of elimination.

In the middle of the show, Wisin arrived to sing the theme song for the show, "Va Por Ti." And he also performed "Control."

As part of Team Dulce Maria, which has had the most members eliminated, Yazaira ended up having to perform twice. She was up against Virginia Stile and Paulino. And though she increased her chances to be sent to the elimination round, Yazaira made it through. It was instead Paulino who would have to once again fight to stay on the show.

Toward the end of the show, Pausini chose one of the contestants to sing with her. Although she and Geissie Torres had a bonding moment, Pausini chose Stephanie to join her on stage. But at the end, Pausini allowed all the remaining contestants to sing with her.

The bottom three ended up being Fernando Corona, Mario Pacheco and Ricardo Rivera.
