Miley Cyrus finds herself getting involved in a lawsuit for ruining a Los Angeles-based model's career, following an alleged dog attack.

TMZ first reported that the female German shepherd owned by the pop star's older half-sister Brandi attacked Yolande Ngom, who actually is the 27-year-old TV presenter's housemate.

According to the court documents, Ngom, professionally known as Mancini, claimed that one of the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker's employees was "handling the dog and couldn't keep it under control, allowing the attack to go down."

Furthermore, pet dog Feather allegedly made an "unprovoked" attack on the victim, savagely ripping open her right thigh that left "scars so bad she'll never be able to work as a model again."

The "Bangerz" singer is involved in the lawsuit since the recent canine attack occurred at the apartment owned by her production company Smiley Miley Inc. It is also where she used to live, as well as where the two housemates currently reside.

Yolande Ngom is now suing both Miley's production company and half-sister for lost wages, damages and medical bills.

Meanwhile, the "We Can't Stop" crooner has reportedly been staying single in hopes of reuniting with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth. Celeb Dirty Laundry recently reported that she is "still mourning her split" from the "Hunger Games" actor.

Sources told the publication that Cyrus is "determined to win Liam back, no matter the cost" -- in other words, "She's been single because she's wanted to be single. And she's been single because she thinks that Liam Hemsworth might actually start dating her again."

Meanwhile, the Australian actor commented on his current relationship status with Miley Cyrus in an interview with Nylon Guys: "There's not much to say; there's no bad blood there."
